Sprint Air Intake Kit Avio - Yamaha R1 2015+ YA03-AVIO

Air box racing duct designed and produced by Sprint Filter with the integrated dashboard for Yamaha R1 (2015+), is the result given by a detailed optimization thanks to the extended use of computational fluid dynamics. The resurfacing of the duct brought to the decreasing of the high pressure loss localized at the inlet given, by the sharp bend radius of the original entry every hydraulic section area has been corrected as well as the its linearization from inlet to outlet. Flow detachments and stalls have been removed therefore having a more laminar flow field and less pressure drops. The integrated dashboard gives the possibility to avoid its fixings sticking through the flow path reducing the possible turbulence.

The sum of those details gives a 3% increase of dynamic pressure at the duct outlet, while the use of high strength and high modulus carbon fiber reduces the weight by 40% in respect to the standard assembly. Various engine bench tests with a dedicated mapping and a P08F1-85 Sprint Filter air filter got to a sensible power increase along all the engine curve. Track test has been performed with our team of technical development Team which confirmed all the benefits tracking a + 4 Kph top speed by using only the Sprint Filter racing duct.

Carbon fiber intake tube and dashboard holder are compatible only with aftermarket race fairings (incompatible with OEM headlight, road and original fairings, turn signals, etc.). Race use ONLY module.
